Dr Michael McCormick was born and raised in the Texas panhandle. Dr. McCormick worked with refractive surgeons in Houston working on FDA clinical trials of the excimer laser used in LASIK. He also interned with contact lens specialists working with custom lens design and clinical research.
Dr. Michael McCormick joined McCormick Vision Source, in 1993, purchasing full ownership of the practice in 2016. His areas of practice emphasize specialty contact lens, LASIK and refractive surgery management, glaucoma, and computer vision syndrome (CVS). He resides in Georgetown with his wife, Jolene (also a certified ophthalmic technician) and has three grown children. Dr. McCormick enjoys travel, hunting, and computers. He is actively involved in music performance and church family.
