Dr. Michael N. McCormick

Dr Michael McCormick was born and raised in the Texas panhandle. Dr. McCormick worked with refractive surgeons in Houston working on FDA clinical trials of the excimer laser used in LASIK. He also interned with contact lens specialists working with custom lens design and clinical research.

Dr. Michael McCormick joined McCormick Vision Source, in 1993 and is the current owner. His areas of practice emphasize specialty contact lens, LASIK and refractive surgery management, glaucoma, and computer vision syndrome (CVS). He resides in Northwest Austin with his wife, Jolene (also a certified ophthalmic technician) and has three grown children. Dr. McCormick enjoys travel, hunting, and computers. He is actively involved in music performance and church family.
